Two free chapters in Vox: coverage and word limit
Understand the two monthly credits and why each one may generate an excerpt, not necessarily a whole chapter.

Vox offers two free chapter credits per month for audio generation. Each credit covers up to 200 words of the selected chapter. The word “chapter” identifies the selection; it does not guarantee that all its content will fit within that length. If the text is longer, the free audio may contain only its beginning. It is worth knowing this before planning two complete readings.
Two credits are not an unlimited pool
The system lets you generate two free selections each month with that limit per credit. This does not mean 400 words you can distribute however you like or two files of a fixed duration. The number of minutes depends on the words and the pace of narration.
Your account displays available free chapters separately from additional words. Check both values before requesting another generation, especially if you are comparing languages or voices.
How to plan two different passages
Choose two passages and check their written length. If you want to listen to two whole chapters, first look for units whose length fits within the limit and check the final file. Do not assume that every chapter has fewer than 200 words.
A file that is already available can be played again from your library. Generating a new passage and playing existing audio are different actions; they should not be described as incurring the same new charge in every case.
Check before considering it complete
After playback, locate the last sentence in Sefaria or your edition. If a scene is cut short, finish the reading in writing and record that the audio was partial. When free credits run out, new generations use the available additional balance.
Free credits are part of the monthly allowance; check your account to see the current status. Do not turn this information into a promise about duration or complete chapters of any length. What can be verified is the word limit and the portion that was actually generated.
